A nation is not build upon the leaders that want to govern it, but through the efforts of the leaders that want to build it.

Director's Letter

José Luis Ochoa

Thank you for visiting us. If you’ve come this far, it’s because you share our common goal to develop the potential of people. It’s also because experiencing the joy of seeing others grow and achieve sustainable changes in the communities in which they live gives the greatest satisfaction.

It is this common effort that binds people from different continents. Our Executive Board includes professionals native to Argentina, Germany, Korea and Peru who came together to make our vision a reality. More volunteers of different nationalities and professions joined in our pursuit of helping students with their personal and professional development, depending on their areas of expertise and experience.

Right now, we are developing a comprehensive educational curriculum with a tentative completion date of March of next year. We are confident that, eventually, we will extend our support to a group of students from Lima, Peru, where our organization’s headquarters are located.

If you are an experienced professional with strong expertise, and are willing to spend two hours coaching 18 to 25 year old university level students, please fill out the attached form, and we will respond by mail.

We are looking for volunteers in areas of translation, coordination with academic networks and would gladly accept donations to support the scholarship or partial-scholarship program available to students. If you reside in the US, your donation may be tax-deductible, via South America Change, the charity that supports us. Non US residents can send donations via PayPal. However, we suggest you contact us in person prior to making a donation or volunteering your time. Renova is built on the willingness to develop the potential of people and we are interested in knowing whether you have further aspirations to experience the pleasure of giving or adding value to the life of people. We can contact you trough our volunteers’ network or forward information about other social help projects that correspond better to your aspirations. This would enable you to contact them directly.

Kind regards,

José Luís Ochoa, Executive Director
